The Green & Gold Booster Club is the Booster Club for all athletics, cheerleading, band and band front organizations. We are a separate 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable organization. Our fundraising goal set by the school is $55,000.00 this year. This amount is used to pay transportation expenses, official's fees, equipment, medical supplies, field improvements, and other costs related to running these activities. Without the support of the Green & Gold, there would be no athletic programs at Nativity BVM High School. In addition, the Green & Gold helps to support other clubs within the school – Prom Committee, Environmental Club, Yearbook, Student Council, etc. The Green & Gold Booster Club also holds special activities for the students in order to promote more school spirit. We sponsor, pep rallies and special dinners in addition to supporting homecoming and senior night activities. We honor our senior athletes with a gift of appreciation. We also recognize four students with individual awards at graduation each year. The Green & Gold also operates the school store, which sells Nativity apparel, school supplies, and candy items. The school store is open daily during the school year over lunch periods. These items are also available for purchase in our concession stand during home basketball games. Our main fundraiser each year is the annual cash raffle held in December. However, we do rely on support form the local community and Nativity families for additional support. Annually, we sponsor the Fall and Winter Sports Program Booklets, Basket Bingo, Chinese Auction, & Walk-A-Thon. Fundraising is not mandatory; however, we do encourage each family to support the activities sponsored by the Green & Gold Booster Club in order for our athletic programs to continue to flourish. Approximately 90% of the families in Nativity are members of the Green and Gold Booster Club. Our membership runs annually and dues are $5.00 per family. Regular newsletters are sent out to all members in order to share important information on upcoming events and news within the athletic department.
