For over 65 years, Nativity BVM High School has been providing students a close-knit school community where they can excel academically, socially, and spiritually.
Spiritual and Moral Values/Community Service:
We have a commitment to service to our community through our expansive community service program. Our students develop spiritual and moral values that help create them into successful, compassionate leaders for our future. The Gospel’s message is taught in our classrooms every day, through our liturgies and special devotions.
Academic Excellence:
The school’s academic program is challenging and diverse and offers many enrichment opportunities. We offer Advanced Placement courses as well as Dual Credit courses through Alvernia University and Penn State University, Schuylkill Campus. The Nativity BVM Nittany Scholars Program, a collaborative STEM focused partnership with Penn State Schuylkill Campus, enhances our academic offerings. Our National Honor Society continues to grow and helps our students portray the value of the education that is available at Nativity.
Extracurricular Activities:
Nativity students enjoy the benefits of extracurricular activities and 14 Varsity Sports to develop community commitment, social skills and physical fitness. Our school is also dedicated to the Arts, through our music and drama programs. We also offer numerous club activities for student involvement with designated club activities meeting during school time.
International Student Program:
Nativity’s International Student Program makes our school a diverse learning environment. Nativity welcomes F1 International students and currently enjoys a vibrant international community of young people from around the world!

Nativity’s well-qualified and caring faculty is deeply committed to their students. On average, more than 95% of our graduates pursue degrees at two and four year public and private colleges and universities, as well as the military, accepting millions of dollars in scholarship awards toward furthering their education.
